Milena’s artworks are initially inspired by a thread which she used as a model. In 2014 she got an award Stevan Knežević for section Drawing.

Followed by much experimentation, Milena focuses just on the line and its harmony. After using pastel, acrylic, ink, and oil to create artworks on canvas and paper, the thread has become her new technique. She started embroidering her drawings.
~Abstract art hasn’t existed. A human has always to start from something. After that, any resemblance to reality can be removed; there is no longer any danger since the idea of the subject has left an indelible mark. The subject is the one that excited the artist, stimulated his ideas and excited his feelings.~
